REI is an outdoor equipment store. The logo design utilizes bold shapes and letters to create an easily recognizable outdoor scene. The exterior and interior of the packaging incorporates natural textures to show the rugged aesthetics of the company. The interior and exterior textures are related. For example, the bag exterior is a bark texture and the interior is a tree ring texture.
